Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine has a unique style that blends R&B with gospel, soul music, and R&B. She's performed on Broadway, in the Democratic National Convention and in clubs and festivals throughout Europe. Sunshine is the daughter of Denise White. While she is living in Atlanta now, Sunshine is from Chester Pennsylvania. In Chester Pennsylvania she started out as a musician, singing and playing at the church in town. She attended Spellman College and began to study the R&B style that is popular in Atlanta. The Fighting Temptations The single which featured her vocals"Stalk You the House, came out only in Japan. It's been remixed numerous times and is the mainstay in her live performance. Her voice was also added to the soundtrack for The Fighting Temptations. In 2005, Tyler Perry hired her as the principal keyboardist on his stage play Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday, who won Tony and Grammy Awards for her vocals she asked Sunshine to be part of the Dreamgirls show during the Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine rose to prominence throughout the four performances in 2008 Democratic National Convention. Sunshine sang during Barack Obama's Inauguration in 2009.
