Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani-Peruvian Muay thai fighter, mixed martial artist and currently competing within the UFC flyweight division. She is the elder sister of the fellow UFC fighter and ex- UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko started her combat sports journey as a Muay Thai kickboxer. She made her debut in the IFMA World Championship Tournament 2003 Shevchenko was the winner of the event and beat Suzane Miller in the finals via the unanimous vote. Antonina won a medal of silver in 2007 followed by a medal of bronze in 2008 and then a gold in the year 2011. She was also crowned IFMA World Amateur Muaythai Champion 2016 by the IFMA. Antonia began her professional journey when she was in the year 2003. She has taken home numerous championships, including the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championships the Lion Fight Lightweight Championships as well as the WMC as well as Phoenix FC World Championships. Antonina was last in action against Isa Tidblad Kskikangas at Phoenix Fighting Championship. She was victorious by unanimous decision. Antonina shevchenko won her debut professional MMA fight in 2002, against Anara bayanova at the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan. She returned to fight Anissa haddaoui, at Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko defeated Anissa Haddaoui in a unanimous decision. She later defeated Valerie Domergue, at Phoenix FC 4, in the same decision. She joined the Dana White Contender Series 2018 after leaving the promotion. Shevchenko was matched against Jaimelene Nievera in Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11, Antonina made use of superior striking and striking skills to TKO Nievera by knees to her body during the clinch.
