Angie Harmon (born Angie Harmon) is an American model and actor. She was a part of a number of movies and television shows throughout her career. She began her career as a fashion model. However, after becoming well-known internationally, she decided to act. Her acting career began in 1995 when she appeared on the TV show 'Baywatch Nights. She has also done voice acting, and she has also been the voice of the animated adaptation of the film 'Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker'. In the early 2000, Harmon chose to focus solely on films and quit working in TV series. Then, in the beginning of 2000 the actress returned to television series following a brief time in films. In 2008 she was among the very few actresses that appeared in Allure magazine without bras. The character of detective Jane Rizzoli was her most significant work on the TNT show Rizzoli & Isles. She was a detective and received a lot of praise and awards. Angie Harmon was nominated over several years due to her excellent performances, but was not awarded any prizes.
